Help Defending Your Legal Matter

An experienced representative will review your legal matter and explain the unique strengths and weaknesses of your case; and work with you to create a winning strategy for defending your matter.  Defend Charges will always use its best efforts when attempting to eliminate your charge(s) completely. 

In the event that it is not possible to eliminate your charge(s) completely, Defend Charges will take all necessary steps:

• To secure a guilty plea to a reduced or amended offence;
• To minimize any monetary penalty (fine) imposed;
• To prevent or minimize any period of probation or incarceration sought; and
• To protect your driver's license from demerit points, suspension and/or revocation.

Defend Charges representation includes the filing of your traffic ticket or offence notice, as it may be, or any other necessary documents as may be discussed and agreed to.  Additionally, for those matters requiring a first appearance, commonly referred to as a 'set date', DefendCharges.ca will attend such court dates on your behalf. Upon receipt and careful review of the evidence against you (the "disclosure") Defend Charges will discuss any stategic defence(s) which may be available to you given the circumstance(s) of your charge(s).
